While in law school, Jenna served as Vice President Academic, advocating for students through faculty governance. She also volunteered with the Tenants’ Rights Program at Dalhousie Legal Aid and completed a placement with the Nova Scotia Supreme Court (Family Division), gaining early, hands-on experience in family law.
Jenna's commitment to advocacy is reflected in her service as an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Child and Youth Law Section and her appointment to the Board of the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia.
Outside the courtroom, Jenna is a black belt in Taekwon-Do, a veteran of the Canadian Naval Reserves, and a former player with Chelsea Women FC in England. She also ran the London Marathon in support of MS research. Jenna enjoys spending time at home with her husband, daughter, and their dog.
